AR RAHMAN to start A Music Conservatory

A music conservatory, the first of its kind in the country, teaching Indian and Western music and instruments, with no stringent budget constraints (“We’ve not yet calculated how much it costs. We’re just pumping in the money it needs,” Rahman naively said), along with a symphony orchestra, founded by AR Rahman himself.

KM Conservatory of music will work in collaboration with Audio Media Education, an Apple Authorised Training Centre. As a founder-principal, Rahman’s role will be conducting special classes and overseeing course curriculum.
