Members of youth wings of DMK and AIADMK along with those a local literary outfit ransacked the farm house of a popular Kannada actor Vishnuvardan here on Thursday to protest Karnataka's opposition to Hogenakkal Drinking water project.
Local youth wing secretaries of DMK and AIADMK, along with members of 'Tamizh Ilakiya Peravai', damaged some vehicles, fittings and equipment in the farm but spared the employees, police said.No one was arrested in connection with the attack.
DMK members also held demonstrations at several points in the district to protest the attack on the office of Tamil Sangam in Bangalore.
