Hashim Amla hit a fluent 159 as South Africa steered towards a mammoth first innings total of 540 on Day 2 of the second Test against India at the M A Chidambaram stadium in Chennai on Thursday.
The right-hander hit 20 boundaries in his 262-ball knock before being run-out, as South Africa went galloping securing this mammoth score.
With 10 overs to go India were cruising along at 78-0 with openers Sewag and Jaffer making merry at 47 and 25 respectively.
