The market had a gap-up 610 opening today, but went downhill as the day advanced. Sensex closed at 15,750, up 123 points from the previous close. It lost nearly 500 points from the day's high. Nifty shut shop, nearly 170 points lower from the day's high, at 4745, up just 5 points. CNX Midcap index gained 0.14% over the day.It was alacklustre trading in Dalal Street with thin Volummes.
